Hi! We’re Débora and Dominic, a Spanish–English couple.

We don’t pretend to be gurus. Truth be told, we’re pretty normal people, just like you. But what we can offer you is our experience and the way we’ve learned to deal with issues in our own lives.

Débora is a psychologist, who gained her first qualification back in 2001. Since then, she has continued to study and increase her experience of various styles of therapy. She takes an integrative and holistic approach, tailoring the therapy to the individual, rather than the other way around. This is underpinned by a deep respect for each person’s process: she firmly believes that every human being has the power to transform their life.

Dominic, a full-time writer and editor, has long had an interest in psychology, but he has been much more actively involved in self-improvement since meeting Débora in 2013. He still considers himself a student, but he has already seen many personal and professional benefits by changing his way of interacting with the world. His role at Time to Feel is to ensure that everything we publish is engaging, practical and easy to understand.

Solid advice

We won’t waste your time with vague or unrealistic ideas.

Débora has a degree in psychology (2001), with a specialism in organisational psychology (2006) and a master’s degree in human resource management (2008). She’s registered with the College of Psychologists in Spain and has more than 16 years of experience in psychological assessment and counselling. She’s also a certified mindfulness consultant, NLP practitioner and life coach.

Our mindfulness coaching programmes are based on techniques whose benefits have been demonstrated in various studies. The underlying concepts were developed over hundreds of years of reflection and practice.

Practical strategies

Theory isn’t enough. You want repeatable steps that you can start taking now.

That’s what we’ll give you. A strategic plan that will help you to identify your resources, free your potential and achieve change.

The rest is up to you. It’s like learning any new skill: the only way to get good at it is to practise regularly.


3.

No wild promises

Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is a better life.

Nobody can wave a magic wand and change things for you overnight. Nor can you improve your life just by wishing for something better.

This is a process. It will take time and effort.

We don’t have instant solutions. But we can help you find the right path.

Everyone is welcome

We believe that everyone in the world has the right to a full, happy and satisfying life. We also believe that the things that unite us are more important than superficial differences such as nationality, skin colour or sexual orientation. We never discriminate.

We respect your right to religious freedom. The techniques we teach are suitable for everyone, whatever your beliefs.

We believe there is wisdom in all faiths. We might refer to some of these ideas in our material, but we don’t promote any religion over another.

It’s up to you how involved you want to be – whether that means reading our blog, watching our videos, taking a course or having personal coaching.
